The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has not yet determined the legal status of the former Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, in the alleged corruption case related to advertising funds by Bank BJB. Kang Emil-as he is often called-has not been declared a witness because he has not undergone examination despite the search of his house by KPK investigators.
"Currently, he has not been called as a witness in this case," said the KPK's Investigative Task Force Chief, Budi Sukmo, as quoted by Tempo from KPK's official YouTube channel on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
