7 Best Australian Cities for International Students

31 August 2024 15:54 WIB

TEMPO.CO, JakartaAustralia will limit the number of new foreign students to 270,00 for 2025, as reported by Reuters on August 27, 2024. The decision is in line with the government's efforts to limit migration, which has contributed to a spike in housing prices.

“There’s about 10% more international students in our universities today than before the pandemic, and about 50% more in our private vocational and training providers,” Education Minister Jason Clare said in the press conference.

Despite the news, Melbourne is ranked fifth in the annual Best Student Cities rankings by QS World Universities Ranking. Here is the list of the seven best Australian cities for international students, based on the QS World Universities Ranking.

Visitors flock to Brisbane for its picturesque beaches, sunny climate, and perfect balance of urban and modern lifestyle.
