TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Paris 2024 Olympic Games officially ended on Sunday, August 11, 2024, with a closing ceremony at the Stade de France north of Paris attended by some 71,500 spectators. The United States and China both collected 40 gold medals, but the US came out on top as it took home more silver medals with 44 to China's 27.
Indonesia finished 39th in the Paris 2024 Olympic medals table, with two golds and a bronze in speed climbing, weightlifting, and badminton.
The 2024 Paris Olympics is Indonesia's 17th participation in the quadrennial international games, the first being in Helsinki in 1952. In total, Indonesia has won 38 medals.
