CEOWORLD released a health care index of 110 countries around the globe. Here is the world’s top 9 countries with the highest healthcare index.

1. Taiwan

Taiwan has a superior medical service and affordable price by using a single-payer system funded by a combination of taxes and premiums. Taiwan's healthcare index is 78.72, which is the highest in the world.

2. South Korea

South Korea has a health care index score of 77.7, just a few points below Taiwan. This country has an advanced and effective healthcare system, supported by skilled medical personnel and complete hospital facilities.

3. Australia

Australia’s healthcare index is 74.11. The country has adequate health facilities with a Medicare health program supported by the government. Not surprisingly, Australia also has one of the highest life expectancies in the world.

4. Canada

Similar to Australia, Canada has a health care program that covers all Canadian citizens and permanent residents. This country has several regulations in place to ensure fair access to health services through social assistance. Canada's healthcare facilities are also qualified, allowing them to record a healthcare index of 71.32.

5. Sweden

Sweden is also a country where life expectancy is high, with an average of 83 years. This is influenced by several factors, one of which is adequate healthcare facilities and services. Sweden ranks fifth in the Health Care Index with a score of 70.73.

6. Ireland

The health care index in Ireland is 67.99. In this country, everyone has access to universal, high-quality public health services. This service is not only available to citizens but also to new residents with no waiting period.

7. The Netherlands

The Netherlands is home to many of Europe's leading pharmaceutical companies and is a center for pharmaceutical research and development.

8. Germany

Germany ranks 8th with a healthcare index of 64.66. The country provides most of the funding for a multi-payer universal health care system.

9. Norwegia

Norway is a country that sets the standard for accessibility to healthcare, with the best healthcare facilities in the world and a healthcare index of 64.63.

Just like Australia and Sweden, the life expectancy in Norway is also quite high, with an average of 83.1 years.
