TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi will launch the Indonesian Government Technology (GovTech) at the State Palace, Jakarta, today, Monday, May 27, according to Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, Abdullah Azwar Anas. Jokowi will launch GovTech at the Electronic-Based Governmental System ( SPBE) Summit 2024.
"Tomorrow, the President will launch GovTech," said Anas on Sunday, May 26.
Anas said GovTech and the SPBE Index will hopefully propel Indonesia to a new era and accelerate the realization of an integrated digital service. According to him, preparations for the SPBE Summit and the launch of GovTech have been finalized, including coordination and consolidation with relevant ministries and institutions.
The Ministry of PANRB, as Chair of the SPBE Coordination Team, collaborates with several other ministries, including the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Finance, and several government agencies such as BRIN, BPKP, and Perum Peruri.
According to the Ministry of PANRB, the 2024 SPBE Summit will be a momentum for citizen-centric digital services development. The GovTech, set to be launched at the Summit, will offer an integrated solution for various government digital services, including national portals and infrastructure-related services.
At the SPBE Summit 2024, brands will be introduced as the organizers of the government’s digital services ecosystem integration. The heads of government agencies, ministries, and institutions responsible for the nine priority SPBE services will also sign a commitment.
"Hopefully with the 2024 SPBE Summit and the launch of GovTech Indonesia, we will enter a new stage in Indonesia that is easier, faster, more transparent, free from corruption, and focused on citizen needs,” he concluded.
