Jokowi on Visit to Gorontalo as Hearing on Election Dispute Decision Held

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo is scheduled to inaugurate a number of infrastructures during his second-day visit to Gorontalo Province today, April 22. Meanwhile, the Constitutional Court in Jakarta is all set to read the verdict on the 2024 presidential election dispute.
The President departed for Pohuwato Regency aboard an ATR 72-600 aircraft via Djalaluddin Airport, Gorontalo at around 07:20 Central Indonesia Time (WITA). Upon arrival, he will immediately conduct an inspection and inaugurate the airport.
He will then travel to Boalemo Regency by Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter to inaugurate the implementation of the Presidential Instruction on Regional Road (IJD). He also plans to inspect corn harvesting sites.
The President and the entourage will then fly to Bone Bolango Regency by helicopter via the helipad of the Boalemo Youth Stadium. In Bone Bolango Regency, he will inspect the Bolango Ulu Dam and the Toto Kabila Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
After completing the agenda in Gorontalo Regency, the Head of State will fly to West Sulawesi Regency via Djalaluddin Airport on board the Indonesia-1 presidential plane.
Accompanying him on the working visit to Gorontalo Province include Public Works and Housing Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi, and Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman.
Jokowi declined to comment much when asked for a response to the hearing on the presidential election dispute decision in Jakarta. “That's the authority of the Constitutional Court,” he said briefly in Gorontalo on Sunday, April 21.
