Eid Homecoming; Jasa Marga Sets 20 Percent Off on Toll Rates

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned toll road operator Jasa Marga has announced a 20 percent discount on toll rates during the Eid homecoming period in 2024. The discounted rate is applicable to the Trans Java Toll Road from Jakarta to Semarang and vice versa.

Lisye Octaviana, the company’s spokesperson, affirmed that the reduction is exclusively valid for toll roads under the management of the Jasa Marga Group, encompassing the integration of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and the MBZ Flyover, the Palimanan-Kanci Toll Road, the Jalan Batang-Semarang Toll Road, and the Semarang Section ABC Toll Road.

This discount will be applicable from the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to the Kalikangkung Toll Gate on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road during the Eid homecoming period.

Conversely, it will be effective from the Kalikangkung Toll Gate on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road to the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road during the return period.

“The homecoming period will start from 05:00 WIB (Western Indonesia Time) on Wednesday, April 3 until 05:00 WIB on Friday, April 5,” Lisye said in a written statement on Monday, April 1.

For the return period, the 20 percent discount on toll rates will be effective from 05:00 WIB on Wednesday, April 17 to 05:00 WIB on Friday, April 19.

Lisye emphasized that the discount will be extended to all vehicle classes and is applicable to those using electronic payments. Therefore, she urged travelers to ensure that they have adequate credit and fuel and that their vehicles are in good condition.
