Indonesian Elections: Real Count Update as of Feb. 26

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Prabowo Subianto and his running mate Gibran Rakabuming Raka continue to hold the top spot in the official vote count by the General Election Commission (KPU). As of yesterday afternoon, Prabowo and Gibran received 58.84 percent of the votes, surpassing their contenders Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin with 24.45 percent, and Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD with 16.71 percent.

Prabowo-Gibran are also winning by a landslide province-wise, achieving victories in 36. Anies and Muhaimin won only in two provinces, Aceh and West Sumatra.

The following are the detailed result of the provincial votes tally as of 17:00 Monday, February 26.

1. Aceh

• Anies-Imin: 75.17 percent (1,859,610 votes).
• Prabowo-Gibran: 22.57 percent (558,487 votes).
• Ganjar-Mahfud: 2.26 percent (55,936 votes)
• Votes counted: 77.95 percent (12,508 from 16,046 voting locations or TPS).

2. Bali

• Anies-Imin: 3.23 percent (50,370 votes).
• Prabowo-Gibran: 52.92 percent (825,735 votes).
• Ganjar-Mahfud: 43.85 percent (684,305 votes)
• Votes counted: 56.75 percent (7,269 out of 12,809 TPS) 

3. Banten

• Anies-Imin: 33.82 percent (1,860,111 votes).
• Prabowo-Gibran: 56.25 percent (3,093,284 votes).
• Ganjar-Mahfud: 9.93 percent (546,200 votes)
• Votes counted: 78.41 percent (26,130 from 33,324 polling stations)

4. Bengkulu

• Anies-Imin: 18.16 percent (217,857 votes).
• Prabowo-Gibran: 70.21 percent (842,401 votes).
• Ganjar-Mahfud: 11.64 percent (139,646 votes)
• Votes counted: 93.83 percent (5,827 out of 6,210 polling stations)

5. Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY)

• Anies-Imin: 19.55 percent (385,545 votes).
• Prabowo-Gibran: 50.75 percent (1,000,858 votes).
• Ganjar-Mahfud: 29.7 percent (585,731 votes)
• Votes counted: 78.37 percent (9,351 out of 11,932 polling stations)

6. DKI Jakarta

• Anies-Imin: 41.08 percent (1,920,165 votes).
• Prabowo-Gibran: 41.48 percent (1,939,212 votes).
• Ganjar-Mahfud: 17.44 percent (815,313 votes)
• Votes counted: 71.50 percent (21,997 from 30,766 polling stations)

7. Gorontalo

• Anies-Imin: 29.23 percent (198,363 votes).
• Prabowo-Gibran: 65.36 percent (443,573 votes).
• Ganjar-Mahfud: 5.41 percent (36,718 votes)
• Votes counted: 87.45 percent (3,095 out of 3,539 polling stations)

8. Jambi

• Anies-Imin: 24.07 percent (431,785 votes).
• Prabowo-Gibran: 65.09 percent (1,167,690 votes).
• Ganjar-Mahfud: 10.84 percent (194,428 votes)
• Votes counted: 79.99 percent (8,927 from 11,160 polling stations)

9. West Java

• Anies-Imin: 31.61 percent (6,831,812 votes).
• Prabowo-Gibran: 58.56 percent (12,656,564 votes).
• Ganjar-Mahfud: 9.83 percent (2,124,768 votes)

• Anies-Imin: 12.68 percent (2,585,333 votes).
