Indonesian Elections: Real Count Update as of Feb. 26

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Prabowo Subianto and his running mate Gibran Rakabuming Raka continue to hold the top spot in the official vote count by the General Election Commission (KPU). As of yesterday afternoon, Prabowo and Gibran received 58.84 percent of the votes, surpassing their contenders Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin with 24.45 percent, and Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD with 16.71 percent.

Prabowo-Gibran are also winning by a landslide province-wise, achieving victories in 36. Anies and Muhaimin won only in two provinces, Aceh and West Sumatra.

The following are the detailed result of the provincial votes tally as of 17:00 Monday, February 26.

  • Anies-Imin: 75.17 percent (1,859,610 votes).
  • Prabowo-Gibran: 22.57 percent (558,487 votes).
  • Ganjar-Mahfud: 2.26 percent (55,936 votes)
  • Votes counted: 77.95 percent (12,508 from 16,046 voting locations or TPS).
  1. Bali
  • Anies-Imin: 3.23 percent (50,370 votes).
  • Prabowo-Gibran: 52.92 percent (825,735 votes).
  • Ganjar-Mahfud: 43.85 percent (684,305 votes)
