BMKG: Weather Forecast Shows No Rain in Jakarta Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The weather forecast by the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) showed no rain in Jakarta throughout Monday, Feb. 26, 2024. Jakarta will see uniform cloudy skies this morning to afternoon.
In the evening, the weather will shift into partly cloudy in all of Jakarta. BMKG released similar predictions for Greater Tangerang, including Tangerang City, Serpong in South Tangerang, and Tigaraksa in Tangerang Regency.
The region will see cloudy skies from morning, afternoon, to evening.
The rest of Greater Jakarta (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi), according to BMKG, have a rain potential in the afternoon. In the morning, the regions are all partly cloudy.
The rain intensity varies, with Bekasi and Depok seeing a drizzle, while Bogor and Cibinong will be hit with medium rain.
In the evening, rain potential persists in Bogor City and Cibinong. Meanwhile, Bekasi and Depok will have partly cloudy skies.
BMKG also released an early warning for rain potential with lightning and strong wind this afternoon for Bekasi.
