AirAsia Serves 391,000 Passengers During Christmas and New Year Holiday

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian airlines AirAsia recorded over 391,000 passengers served throughout the Christmas and New Year holidays from Dec. 19, 2023, to January 3, 2024.
"With a total of 2,500 domestic and international flights," said the Executive Director of Indonesia AirAsia Veranita Yosephine Sinaga on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Several destinations were deemed favorites during the holiday, Veranita claimed. Bali and Toba Lake were among the domestic ones, while Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Bangkok were favorite international destinations.
"With an occupancy rate of 86 percent, supported by over 120 additional flights to fulfill the high demand rate," she said.
During the Christmas and New Year holiday period, she went on, Indonesia AirAsia ensured that the aviation services provided for its passengers are top notch from the check-in counter to ground handling in every airport. "hence, there were no significant complaint nor obstacles found on the ground," she said.
Indonesia AirAsia also provides many promotions and discounts for international flights for people to enjoy. The airlines also coordinated with all aviation stakeholders to ensure secure and safe flights for its passengers.
