TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - With Christmas and New Year holidays just around the corner, Tempo has rounded up three exciting events in Jakarta to visit during this festive season. These include the Big Bang Festival, Twice Concert, and the Jakarta Halal Festival.

Big Bang Festival
Big Bang Festival is back with a year-end large sale expo and a music performance. The event will be held at JIExpo Kemayoran in Central Jakarta and run for 11 days, from December 22, 2023, to January 1, 2024.
Discounted clothes, beauty, electronics, furniture, home appliances, and children's toys are among the available products to shoppers in the bazaar area, Numerous events are also taking place there, including a thrift sale, a games arcade, and the New Year’s Eve celebration.
Additionally, a music concert featuring renowned musicians, such as D'Masiv, Nadin Amizah, The Changcuters, Feel Koplo, Denny Caknan, and Fourtwnty, will enliven the event.
Twice “READY TO BE” Concert
South Korean girl group Twice is set to perform at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) today, December 22. Tonight’s concert is part of their fifth world tour “READY TO BE” which began in Korea in April 2023.
The group, made up of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, will be the first K-pop group to hold a solo show at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).
Twice's latest encounter with ONCE, the group’s official fandom name, in Indonesia was in 2018 during the concert of Twiceland Zone 2 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang.
Jakarta Halal Festival
One of Indonesia’s largest festivals for halal products kicked off today, Dec. 22, at Hall A of the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) in Senayan. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time until Dec. 25, 2023.
In addition to the exhibition of halal products, there are lots of exciting events, including national seminars, talk shows, business sharing, children's festivals, charity concerts, and mass prayer or Tabligh Akbar, led by the well-known preacher Ustadz Das'ad Latif.
