BMKG Forecasts Another Sunny Day with Up to 35 C in Greater Jakarta Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) released a weather forecast for Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek or Greater Jakarta) that there is no chance of rain today, Dec. 18. The weather will be mostly sunny and partly cloudy, with temperatures reaching into 35 degrees Celcius.
No early weather warnings have been issued by the agency.
Here is the detailed weather forecast for today:
Jakarta
Jakarta will have a sunny morning. In the afternoon and early morning, there will be scattered clouds over the capital.
The air temperature is forecast to range between 24 and 34 degrees Celsius, with a 50-90 percent humidity level.
Bogor
Similarly to Jakarta, the city of rain, encompassing Bogor City and Bogor Regency (Cibinong, Cisarua, and Gadog), will have clear skies with minimal clouds today.
The air temperature in Puncak Bogor, specifically Cisarua and Gadog, will be colder at 18 and 29 degrees Celsius, with a humidity level of 65 to 95 percent, compared to Cibinong and Bogor City, which will be at 21-33 degrees Celsius, with a humidity level of 65 to 95 percent.
Depok
This morning will also be bright in Depok City, changing to partly overcast in the afternoon and evening.
The air temperature is expected to range from 22 to 34 degrees Celsius, with a humidity level of 55-95 percent.
Tangerang
Greater Tangerang comprising Tangerang City, South Tangerang (Serpong), and Tangerang Regency (Tigaraksa) will also be sunny in the morning and partly overcast in the afternoon and evening.
The air temperature is predicted to be between 24 and 35 degrees Celsius, with a 55-90 percent humidity level.
Bekasi
In Bekasi City and Bekasi Regency (Cikarang), it is also a sunny day with some clouds. The BMKG forecasted the air temperature to be 23-34 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of 55-95 percent.
