Indonesian Ambassador to Sweden Kamapradipta Isnomo emphasized Indonesia's full support for Palestine during a meeting with Swedish Foreign Affairs Minister Tobias Billström in Stockholm.

Indonesia also emphasized its condemnation of Israeli violence against civilians and civil facilities in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

"Indonesia also condemns the deaths of more than 40 journalists covering (the conflict) in the Gaza Strip and asks Sweden to continue providing international development assistance to Palestine," Isnomo noted in a written statement issued by the Indonesian Embassy in Stockholm and received by ANTARA on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

2. Japan, Indonesia Sign MoD on MRT East-West Line Phase 1

The Indonesian government and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed the Minutes of Discussion (MoD) of appraisal mission for the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) East-West Line Phase 1 Project.

The signing was carried out at the Ministry of Transportation Building, here on Saturday (November 11), by the ministry's Director General of Railways Risal Wasal, and the Director of Bilateral Funding Kurniawan Ariadi at the National Development Planning Ministry (Bappenas).

Moreover, the MoD was also signed by Jakarta Provincial Secretary Joko Agus Setiono, MRT Jakarta President Director Tuhiyat, and Chief of JICA Representative Office in Indonesia Yasui Takehiro.

3. Indonesia's Bekasi City to Hold Pro-Palestine Rally, People Asked to Anticipate Road Closure

The peaceful rally to defend Palestine will be held again in Indonesia in the City of Bekasi on Sunday morning, November 12, 2023, starting from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., or during the car-free day (CFD).

This act was initiated by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Islamic organization Muhammadiyah, religious figures, and the general public of Indonesia.
