GGWP is committed to refocusing as a rapidly evolving esports media platform.

TEMPO.CO, JakartaEsports has become a global phenomenon. It is not only a preferred form of entertainment for young people but has also transformed into a promising industry. In Indonesia, this sector has experienced rapid growth, along with the emergence of various platforms and media that support the esports ecosystem. One of the key stakeholders driving this development is GGWP, an Indonesian esports media platform under IDN Media. It provides positive, real-time, comprehensive, and reliable esports content across various social media platforms, including websites, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

In order to realize its commitment to building a more positively-oriented future for Indonesian esports, GGWP has announced a new era with a refreshed logo and appearance. This significant change is not only apparent in its visual presentation but also in its spirit and implied meaning, serving as a symbol of GGWP's determination to strengthen connections within the esports community. With the launch of this new logo, GGWP aims to bring the world of esports closer to its readers and to engage a broader reader community, catering to both those already familiar with this domain and individuals outside the esports community. GGWP envisions a future where esports can be enjoyed by anyone.

Currently, GGWP is committed to refocusing as a rapidly evolving esports media platform. GGWP will redirect its attention to its core essence while also formulating new strategies to optimize its business model through expansion into the realm of video content. This strategy is not limited to the realm of esports but also encompasses a diverse range of captivating categories that cater to the varied interests of gamers in Indonesia.

GGWP, an acronym for "Good Game, Well Played," is a widely used term within the esports community to express appreciation for the strategies and skills demonstrated by opponents during a match. Players often extend this gesture to one another after a game, signifying sportsmanship, acknowledging their opponents' efforts, and contributing to a positive atmosphere within the esports community.

Launched on 15 July 2019 as a part of the IDN Media ecosystem, GGWP has become the leading multi-platform e-sports media for Millennials and Gen Z in Indonesia. In addition to providing relevant content to its audiences, GGWP has collaborated with BEKRAF and the Indonesian Game Association (AGI) to organize the annual Game Prime Asia event, also known as BEKRAF Game Prime (BGP). This event includes conferences, seminars, and business-to-business (B2B) exhibitions for the gaming industry in Indonesia. On April 14, 2022, GGWP announced the development of an NFT game called Purraria in collaboration with Kingdom Labs. Those initiatives aim to support the growth of esports in Indonesia.

With a grand vision to become a more inclusive platform, GGWP is determined to connect various segments of society with a strong enthusiasm for the gaming world. In the current rebranding of GGWP, the most prominent change lies in the significant alteration of the GGWP logo. This logo is crafted to embody the positive spirit and energy of the esports industry. The new GGWP logo takes the form of a clenched fist, resembling the letter G, which stands for GGWP and encapsulates the essence of gaming, at the heart of this industry. The downward-pointing arrow signifies GGWP's commitment to support and advance the esports industry, as well as to stay grounded. Additionally, the logo features six corners pointing in every cardinal direction, symbolizing GGWP's dedication to supporting the esports industry from every angle.

"This rebranding transcends a mere logo change or the type of content we present. GGWP holds aspirations to make a significant positive impact on the Indonesian esports industry. We aim to establish a solid foundation, reshape perceptions of esports as positive and entertaining entertainment, and ensure that everyone, from diverse backgrounds, can wholeheartedly enjoy esports. Welcome to the new era of GGWP," expressed Brian Chuang, Head of GGWP.

Through this rebranding, GGWP underscores its determination to continue contributing to the growth and advancement of the future of the esports industry in Indonesia. With a new spirit and an aligned vision, GGWP stands ready to lead in delivering quality and positive esports entertainment for all.
