TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tempo English has compiled several events that will take place from September 30 to October 8, 2023, for next week's agenda. These events include the Festival Batik 2023, Charlie Puth’s concert, and the Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT 2023).

1. Batik Festival 2023
In celebration of National Batik Day on October 2, K2BABE or Betawi Batik Consumer Cooperative organized Batik Festival 2023, which will be held from September 30 to October 2, 2023, at Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta.
As quoted from the Instagram account @batikfestival_official, the festival was held with the aim of preserving and showcasing Indonesian batik cultural arts.
The event will feature a batik fashion show, traditional cultural and art performances, and an MSME exhibition. In addition, visitors can take part in workshops, create batik using the traditional spouted tool or canting together, and enjoy Indonesian culinary delights.
The Batik Festival 2023 will feature 200 booths of Indonesian batik artisans who will display diverse types of batik.
A number of state officials will attend the festival including Tourism Minister Sandiaga Uno, Communication and Information Minister Budi Arie Setiadi, Cooperatives and SMEs Minister Teten Masduki, and Education and Culture Minister Nadiem Makarim, and Acting Jakarta Governor Heru Budi Hartono.

2. Charlie Puth The “Charlie” Live Experience
Charlie Puth, a four-time Grammy-nominated artist, will perform in Jakarta as part of his Asian tour titled the “Charlie” Live Experience, which kicks off in Hong Kong on October 4, 2023.
After Hong Kong on October 4 and Bangkok on October 6, the American singer-songwriter will perform at Beach City International Stadium in Jakarta, on Sunday, October 8, 2023.
Charlie Puth's Asia tour concert will also be held in Singapore, Tokyo, and Seoul.

3. INACRAFT 2023
Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT) is back at the Jakarta Convention Center Jakarta from October 4 to 8, 2023.
One of Indonesia's largest handicraft exhibitions will display local handmade and manufactured products including handicrafts, batik, fashion embroidery, accessories, jewelry, gifts and housewares, miscellaneous crafts, glass, decorative items, and more.
Hundreds of national and international exhibitors as well as small and medium enterprises will also participate in this annual event.
