BMKG: Rain to Drench South, East Jakarta Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasted partly cloudy skies in Jakarta today, September 20, 2023, with a chance of rain in the afternoon.
In the morning, all of Jakarta will be evenly greeted by a partly cloudy sky. However, rain is expected to greet South Jakarta in the afternoon, while the rest of the province remains partly cloudy.
"Beware of rain potential with lightning and strong winds in part of South Jakarta and East Jakarta," BMKG warned.
During the evening, the skies will once again remain partly cloudy, continuing over into the dawn, in all of Jakarta.
The temperature ranges from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius today with the air humidity level of 55 to 90 percent.
Meanwhile, according to IQAir, the air quality index in Jakarta this Wednesday morning was recorded at 124 points, making Jakarta's air the world's fifth most polluted.
