"The result is we ought to improve the facility and infrastructure, to revamp the entrance," he said in Jakarta City Hall, on Thursday, July 27, 2023.
According to Heru, the provincial government has started the revamp process of several facilities and infrastructures in JIS following the audit. He also said that the revamp will be done before the U-17 World Cup begins.
Jakarta also repairs two streets around JIS, Jl. Danau Sunter Barat and Jl. Sunter Permai Raya, ahead of the world cup. "The Spatial Bureau in 2023 will revamp the concrete roads, sidewalks, and street lights," said the Acting Chairman of the Spatial Bureau Heru Suwondo when confirmed at Jakarta on Thursday, July 27, 2023.
Previously, Heru mentioned that the Spatial Bureau is currently coordinating with PT Jasa Marga Properti (JMP). "The Special Bureau has done their part, still awaiting JMP to continue to proceed to the toll road.
The provincial government of Jakarta will also add more overpasses on RE Martadinata Street and Kali Ancol. Heru hopes that JIS will be used to hold various events after the revamp.
The Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Iwan Takwin said the government will adjust all access to JIS. According to Iwan, all entry and exit to JIS - the gates in the south, west, and east - will have identical widths. "The east door at the back, we have started to level it," he said during a joint meeting with Commission B of the Regional Legislative Council in Jakarta on Wednesday, July 26. Further, Iwan stated that Jakpro will coordinate with PT KAI concerning the use of KAI's land to establish a railway.
Meanwhile, despite being audited by BPK, Heru Budi also plans to submit an audit request from the Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and Jakarta Inspectorate. However, he has not revealed when the audit will be conducted. "We'll see," he said.
