TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Directorate of General Crimes (Dittipidum) of the Police's Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim) today sent a summons addressed to Dito Mahendra. He will be questioned as a suspect on Friday, April 28 in the case of illegal possession of firearms.
"Today we have sent a summons for the suspect to appear on Friday," Dittipidum director Brig. Gen. Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro said on Wednesday, April 26.
This is Dito Mahendra's first summons after he was named a suspect in the case. If he fails to show up, the Bareskrim will put him on a wanted list or DPO.
Dito Mahendra was named as a suspect following a case title on Monday, April 17 for the illegal possession of firearms.
Dito, a businessman, is implicated in the money laundering crime case with suspect Nurhadi, a former secretary of the Supreme Court. KPK suspects Dito of keeping assets belonging to Nurhadi, which the latter acquired from corrupt practices.
During one of KPK's searches on March 13, investigators found 15 weapons at Dito Mahendra's residence. The weapons have been submitted to the Bareskrim for investigation.
