Indonesia's Top 10 Restaurants According to Australian Researcher

TEMPO.CO, JakartaAustralian researcher Roy Morgan conducted research in Indonesia regarding family restaurants and fast food restaurants which are favorites of Indonesians. Padang cuisine restaurant chain Restoran Sederhana takes the first spot.

The restaurant is the most visited in Indonesia with more than 28.4 million visits in an average of six months. In second place is the famous fried chicken fast-food franchise KFC with 24 million visitors, followed by fellow American fast-food chain, McDonald's.

The following is a list of Indonesia's 10 most frequented restaurants according to roymorgan.com.

  1. Restoran Sederhana, 28.4 million visitors
  2. KFC, 24 million visitors
  3. McDonald's, 7.7 million visitors
  4. Pizza Hut, 6.5 million visitors
  5. Solaria, 3.2 million visitors
  6. A&W, 2.4 million visitors
  7. D'Cost, 2.4 million visitors
  8. Hoka-hoka Bento, 2.3 million visitors
  9. Texas Fried Chicken, 1.6 million visitors.
  10. Es Teler 77, 1.5 million visitors
