Ambon Pattimura International among Best Airports in Asia-Pacific

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Pattimura International Airport in Ambon, Maluku was named one of the best airports in Asia Pacific by Airport Council International (ACI) world's annual Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award 2021. Pattimura Airport won in the size category of under 2 million passenger per year.
The award was given by in Montreal, Canada.
"This award is a form of international recognition for the commitment to excellent service at airports around the world," Pribadi Maulana, general manager of the Pattimura Airport branch of Angkasa Pura I, said on Sunday, September 18.
ASQ Awards' Best Airports winners were based on size and regions. They are assessed based on the number of questionnaires that show the overall satisfaction score at an airport in the past year.
In total, six airports in Indonesia were named winners of ASQ Awards: 2021.
In the 2 to 5 million passengers per year category, there are Semarang's Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport and Surakarta Airport Adi Soemarmo.
In the 5 to 15 million passengers per year category, the Indonesian winners are Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport, Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar International Airport, and Yogyakarta International Airport.
