Bharada E Has No Intention to Kill Brigadier J: Lawyer

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The lawyer for Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu a.k.a. Second Agent E (Bharada E), Ronny Talapessy, hoped his client could be free from the murder case of Brigadier J because he had no intent on committing the crime.
“Our brother, our little brother RE, has no intention to commit a crime, or commit a murder,” Ronny said at the National Police Headquarters on Monday, August 15, 2022.
He explained that his client is in good health and will undergo a follow-up examination today. “He is healthy. We ask for support from the public and journalists to oversee this. Don't worry, Bharada RE is healthy, and will undergo additional examinations,” he said.
RE, he continued, deserved the right to psychological assistance and had requested one. Yet, he stopped short of detailing the purpose.
On a different occasion, the Witness and Victim Protection Agency or LPSK has officially received a request for a justice collaborator status from RE this afternoon.
Agency head Hasto Atmojo Suroyo said that Richard met the requirements as a justice collaborator and had no mens rea or intention in the murder of his colleague, Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J.
As previously reported, the police named four suspects in the murder case of Brigadier J. They are Insp. Gen. Ferdy Sambo, Bharada E, Chief Brigadier (Bripka) Ricky Rizal, and the driver of Ferdy Sambo's wife, Kuwat Ma’ruf.
