Indonesia Exports 1,000 Tons of Poultry Products in 2022

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo on Wednesday was present at the sending-off event of chicken meat export by PT Charoen Pokhpand Indonesia Tbk.
The 50 tons of frozen and processed chicken meat worth Rp2 billion is destined for Singapore. This export will also be shipped to Japan and Timor Leste with 12 tons each.
"This export proves that Indonesia is gaining international trust, for our agriculture products, and especially our cattle produces that meet the standards of export markets," said Syahrul on July 13, "As for Singapore, this is the inaugural moment we sent our poultry."
In 2022, the poultry meat export contract of Charoen Pokphand to Singapore amounts to 1,000 tons worth Rp40 billion across a number of exports. On a national scale, Indonesia's exports reach a total amount of 3.8 million tons annually.
