TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned air navigation firm AirNav Indonesia confirmed that flights from and to Jakarta on Friday morning, June 10, 2022, were delayed as a result of the operational disruption of air traffic control at the Jakarta Air Traffic Services Center (JATSC).
"The disruption caused a number of flights to be delayed for 10-40 minutes," said AirNav Corporate Secretary Rosedi on Friday, June 10, 2022.
Due to the system disruption, Rosedi said flight information was not delivered smoothly. The agency then took mitigation steps so that flights could return to normal.
One of them is by issuing flight information manually while the system is being restored. At 09:05 Jakarta time, the system was managed to run normally as before.
Rosedi further offered an apology for the problems and the impacts caused.
"AirNav is committed to continuing to provide the best service for users and implement all the best and fastest efforts in resolving technical problems," he concluded.
