TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The COVID-19 task force on Tuesday, November 2, released its latest report on the statistics related to the pandemic. The report states there is a 2,973 increase in positive cases with 418,375 in cumulative cases.
“There are 54,732 active cases or 13-percent. Meanwhile, the average world’s active case is 25.52 percent,” said the task force spokesman Wiku Adisasmito.
The number of patients that have recovered is increased by 3,931, to a total of 349,497 recoveries. Meanwhile, the mortality rate saw 102 new cases, amounting to a total of 14,146 deaths related to COVID-19.
The task force revealed that there are still 56,039 suspected cases along with 29,928 specimens being studied as of November 2, which is a significant increase compared to the previous day of 26,661 tested specimens.
The Capital City of Jakarta remains to be the region with the highest new Covid-19 infection with 617 cases, followed by West Java (484), Central Java (453), East Java (272), East Kalimantan (152), and Riau (106).
