President Yudhoyono to Visit Regions During Ramadan

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was scheduled to visit several regions in the country during the fasting month. The president's agenda, according to the State Secretary Minister, Hatta Radjasa was not connected to the campaign in facing the 2009 election.

“There is no connection. This is not a campaign. Even political parties have started their campaigns,“ said Hatta at the presidential palace on Monday (1/9).

The president's itinerary drafting was finished yesterday and some of the cities that will be visited by the president including Purwokerto (Central Java), Tasikmalaya (West Java), and several areas where agriculture is the main source of living. President Yudhoyono was also planned to inaugurate the newly renovated Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar.
