Telkomsel Helps Jakarta Open More COVID-19 Hotlines

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Provincial Government is working with Telkomsel to add more hotlines at the COVID-19 Call Center. The call center has been receiving thousands of phone calls.
Telkomsel provides 10 lines to assist the Jakarta Government provide information and help for the public in coping with the coronavirus outbreak.
"At first we had one hotline, the number is 081388376955. Thanks to Telkomsel, we now have 10 lines," Jakarta COVID-19 Response Team chairman Catur Laswanto said on Thursday, March 13.
Jakarta now has the emergency lines 112 and 119, plus the 081388376955 hotline with the 10 lines provided by Telkomsel.
"This is, once again, to ensure that the public have no difficulties in seeking information related to COVID-19," he said.
Jakarta announced that as of March 13 the Call Center for COVID-19 had been contacted by 3,892 people.
In Indonesia, there are now 98 people under observations (ODP), and 103 patients under supervision (PDP).
