  • TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Deputy Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Bara Hasibuan, said that the Adil Makmur Coalition, or also known as the Prabowo – Sandiaga coalition is only valid until the 2019 Presidential Election. He claimed that the party is no longer incorporated in the coalition, which consists of the Great Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party, the Justice and Prosperity Party (PKS), and the Democrat Party.

"Despite the ongoing process at the Constitutional Court, de facto, we are done," Bara said on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.

Bara asserted that his party is indeed waiting for the process and decision from the Constitutional Court. After the process, PAN Central Executive Board will make a decision on the party’s political stance for the next five years.

"We will decide our next step," he said.

Democrat Party Secretary General Hinca Panjdaitan also mentioned that his party is not the eternal ally for Gerindra, PKS, and PAN. Hinca asserted that the party, which is led by Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, is only obliged to provide support during the 2019 Presidential Election.

"Presidential candidate deadline is on May 22. Then it's done," Hinca stated.
