TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - An Indonesian national named Siti Aisyah who was charged with murdering Kim Jong-Nam, the brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, expressed her gratitude to President Joko Widodo or Jokowi upon her release from custody.
“I would like to thank our President, Bapak Jokowi and the minister who struggled to help me until I am now in Indonesia, and also thanks a lot to media support,” said Aisyah.

Siti Aisyah made the statement during a press conference Monday, March 11, with Law and Human Rights Minister Yasonna Laoly at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta.
Aisyah said that she was glad after the court dropped all charges against her on Monday, March 11, after prosecutors applied for her acquittal.
“I’m very happy, I can’t put it into words,” said Aisyah.
Siti Aisyah further claimed that she was treated nicely and without intimidation while in custody in Malaysia. “There was no intimidation, Malaysia authority served me well,” Aisyah added.
