TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko `Jokowi` Widodo flew to Central Java today to inaugurate the opening of two new toll roads. Jokowi is also scheduled to distribute land certificates for the people in Central Java.
President Widodo departed at 6:55 from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta. The Presidential Aircraft-1 arrived about an hour later at the Ahmad Yani Air Base in Semarang.
In Central Java, the President will inaugurate the Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road and the Pemalang-Batang Toll Road. The President is also scheduled to submit certificates for the residents of Tegal.
President Jokowi is accompanied by a number of state officials during his work visit. Among them are Agrarian and Spatial Planning Minister/National Land Agency chief Sofyan Djalil, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, the President's Special Staff Coordinator Teten Masduki, and the Presidential Secretariat's head Heru Budi Hartono.
