TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - The 7th Jagakali International Art Festival held on the Pacit River in Cirebon City, West Java, was enlivened by delegations from five countries. They participated in performing arts and culture on October 19-21.
“The five countries that sent their delegations were Korea, America, Philippines, and Mexico,” said the initiator of the Jagakali International Art Festival, Nico Broer Permadi in Cirebon, Friday, October 19.
The five countries are represented by those who are involved in environmental issues, especially the river pollution issues. The festival was initially called the Jagakali Art Festival, without the 'International' title. It was added at the 7th event since the representatives from several countries partake in the festival.
Jagakali International Art Festival is a campaign for the public in an effort to take care of the river from pollution, through art and culture.
