TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan attended a one-year evaluation of his performance by the Poor City People’s Network (JRMK), Sunday, October 7. A large cone-shaped rice was provided by the committee as a symbol of gratitude for the results of Anies` performance.

Anies gave the first piece to Eny Rochayati, the new Chairman of JRMK. However, Eny fed Anies instead.

“Feed him, feed him, feed him,” said dozens of evaluation participants at Kampung Rawa, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, Sunday, October 7.

Anies then walked around in Kampung Rawa to see the area that was almost displaced in the era of former Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahja Purnama or Ahok.

Anies promised the access to clean water and decent settlement for villagers in Jakarta. “During this one year, the arrangement of villages in Jakarta is still a homework that has not been finished,” said Anies.

Eny Rochayati said that she was satisfied with Anies Baswedan`s performance for one year. “When Ahok served, there was no dialogue with the residents to find solutions to evictions,” Eny said.
