Ridwan Kamil Wants to Make Citarum as Most Beautiful River

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil is optimistic that Citarum River will become the most beautiful river in Indonesia and one of the bests in the world.
It was stated when Ridwan Kamil reviewing the river dredging in Bojongsoang, Bandung Regency, which was conducted by the Citarum Task Force (Satgas) and the community.

“Through this mutual cooperation, I am very optimistic that it will bring change, (the river) which used to be dirty will become one of the most beautiful rivers in the world. That is our commitment,” he said.
He appreciated the hard work of the National Army (TNI) in maximizing the dredging of the Citarum river's depth during the dry season. “I will try to add the equipment, according to the needs of the TNI,” Ridwan Kamil said.
