On Sunday, September 9–which coincided with the anniversary of the Democratic Party, SBY did not present his speech. No political discussion was brought up in the internal celebration held at SBY's residence.
Ferdinand claimed SBY did not touch on issues regarding his cadres who support the incumbent candidate Jokowi-Ma'aruf Amin. "I don't know yet. The point is, this is a big signal for all Democratic Party cadres to be ‘all out’ and work hard to win the upcoming elections in 2019," he said.
In addition to SBY, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) as Commander of the Joint Unit (Kogasma) would also deliver a speech. Both of them would motivate their cadres to face the 2019 political year and win the presidential and vice presidential pair supported by their coalition party for sure.
