TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The vice presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno responded casually to the issue of the Rp500 billion political dowry and the polemic of ‘cardboard general’ who had been expressed by the Deputy Secretary General of the Democratic Party Andi Arief. Sandiaga as the Prabowo Subianto’s pair in the 2019 Presidential Election considered the issue as a political dynamic that must be grateful for.
“That is a [political] dynamic that we must be grateful for. Now the Democratic Party has joined and we both want the ‘united we stand’, let’s build a better communication in the future,” said Sandiaga at Jalan Simprug Golf, South Jakarta, Saturday, August 11.
Sandiaga Uno even planned to visit the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to discuss the campaign fund in the 2019 Presidential Election. Because, he said, the campaign costs must be supervised. It needs to be done so that all parties can give each other input so that there is a change in the political process.
