PKS President: Yusuf Supendi is Pioneer of Da'wah and Teacher

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The founder of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) and the legislative candidate of the Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) Yusuf Supendi, passed away this morning at the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital. PKS President Sohibul Iman expressed his impression of Yusuf when he came to the funeral home.
"Personally, he is strong in his beliefs, everyone has their own character," Sohibul said at the funeral home in Cijantung, South Jakarta, Friday, August 3, 2018.
Sohibul considers Yusuf as a pioneer of da'wah and a teacher. Sohibul believed that Yusuf's kindness will continue to be remembered. "The important thing is how his family can continue the Yusuf’s struggle in da’wah," Sohibul said.
Based on information from family of the deceased, Yusuf Supendi died of a heart attack. Yusuf's body was buried at the Kober Kalisari Public Cemetery in Cijantung.
