4 Foods Other Than Green Tea Able to Fight Cancer

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - There are many options available around us that enables us to advance cancer prevention nationwide, even though what we are facing is the disease that have claimed many lives throughout human history.


The following are five types of foods that could prevent cancer:


1. Green Tea



The antioxidant contained in green tea is able to help fend off esophagus, throat, mouth, liver, pancreas, and prostate cancers. The polyphenol that this beverage contains has antioxidant properties.


2. Broccoli



This green vegetable is said by several studies to contain cancer-fighting properties that can prevent prostate cancer and bladder cancer. Other than being high on fiber and Sulforaphane that can increase enzyme and help eliminate chemical materials that cause cancer.


3. Orange



The vitamin C and antioxidant contained in an orange is useful to prevent cancer when consumed as fresh as it is and not mixed with other materials.


4. Ginger



This spice that is also native to Indonesia is able to force cancer cells to commit apoptosis, or basically causing cancer cells to commit suicide while leaving surrounding healthy cells untouched. Its anti-inflammatory properties can prevent cancer cells from breeding.


5. Garlic



Garlic is known to be effective in stopping cancer cells from multiplying and can eliminate cancer cells, especially in breast cancer, esophagus, and stomach cancer.
