TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi today, June 21, celebrates his 57th birthday. On his special day, Jokowi chooses to conduct an impromptu visit, locally known as blusukan.

Jokowi this morning reviewed the development project of Taxy Way and Runway 3 at Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten.

Last year, when he celebrated his 56th birthday, Jokowi also conducted the blusukan to a number of places, namely to Bogor and Sukabumi, West Java. At that time, he distributed the staple to the local community.

Meanwhile, birthday greetings for Jokowi circulated on social media. The hashtag of #HBDJokowiKerjaPakaiHati (#HBDJokowiWorksWithHeart) becomes a trending topic on Twitter for the Indonesian.

President Commissioner of PT Adhi Karya Fadjroel Rachman through his Twitter account tweeted a prayer and hope for the former mayor of Solo.

“Happy 57th anniversary Pak @jokowi, wish you long life, always be blessed with health, be honest in serving the people of Indonesia, and be blessed with happiness in work and family,” he said.

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Fahri Hamzah also said happy birthday to Jokowi by criticizing the president.

“The most basic weakness of president @jokowi is that all his strengths are the cause of his most basic weaknesses. He doesn't know many people, so there is a conspiracy around him that makes him look like he does not control the situation. #Milad57JKW,” he said.

President Jokowi also received a birthday greeting from an Indonesian music composer Addie MS.

“Happy birthday, Pak Jokowi! May you always be healthy in carrying heavy duty,” he said.
