TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - After the riot at the Police’s Mobile Brigade Headquarters or Mako Brimob, Kelapa Dua, Depok, last week, the founder of Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD), Aman Abdurrahman, is still in Mako Brimob.

"Yes, still in Mako Brimob," said Aman Abdurrahman Attorney Asruddin Hatjani when contacted by Tempo on Wednesday, May 16.

According to Asruddin, after the riot involving the terrorist prisoners and police, Aman Abdurrahman cannot be met. He has not communicated with Aman ever since.

"Have not met [him] yet," Asruddin said.

During the hostage-taking and rebellion in Mako Brimob, one of the demands of the terrorist prisoners was to meet with Aman.

The police did not dismiss it. The police then connected the prisoners to Aman. The prisoners were represented by Abu Qutaibah, a convicted in the Kampung Melayu bombing case.

Last week, Deputy Chief of Police Commissioner General Syafruddin said that after the riot in Mako Brimob, 155 prisoners were moved from Salemba prison of Mako Brimob to Nusakambangan Prison on Thursday, May 10.

"In the process of the isolation room, we will discuss with Menkumham and the Director General of Corrections about the continuation," said Syafruddin at Mako Brimob, Kelapa Dua, Depok related to the status of Aman Abdurrahman.
