TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti participated in Kartini Flight route of Jakarta - Yogyakarta held by state-owned airline Garuda Indonesia on Saturday, April 21, 2018.

Minister Susi Pudjiastuti and her entourage boarded the plane at around 08:00 AM local time. During the flight, Minister Susi Pudjiastuti congratulated Kartini Day to all passengers directly.

"I am Susi Pudjiastuti, Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries. Welcome to Garuda Kartini Flight Indonesia," said the minister. "[Happy] Kartini Day for all Indonesian women. [Kartin] is full of Inspiration. Let's keep spreading the love for all women of Indonesia. Happy Kartini Day."

Moreover, all staff on duty are women starting from the ticketing officers, cabin crew, until the pilot. The crew was acknowledged as the great women owned by Garuda Indonesia Group, wearing kebaya and greeted the passengers pleasantly.

"I'm proud of Garuda Indonesia to make this special flight, the female pilots, cabin crew and also ground officers who are all women are a proof that they are capable to work in a world full of technological developments and the dynamic challenges of the career," said Minister Susi Pudjiastuti.

Also on the plane during the Kartini Flight were two women directors of Garuda Indonesia: Director of Human and General Resources Sari Suharso, and Domestic Trade Director Nina Sulistyowati and several other women directors of state-owned enterprises.
