TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Xiaomi Black Shark will be released next week, on Friday, April 13. As reported by Ghizmochina, this smartphone is the result of a cooperation with Black Shark Ltd, a game developer company.


The information about the release spread after an invitation uploaded about the Black Shark release. It was mentioned the release date would be on April 13 and the event would begin at 3:00 pm Chinese time.

1. First Time Appears on Weibo Site


Its company showed it in Weibo. After that, followed by the AnTuTu leaked list, which confirmed the device specifications.


2. Using Snapdragon 845 and 8 GB of RAM


According to the leak, Black Shark will use Snapdragon 845 with 8 gigabytes of RAM.


For the screen, it is possible to have an 18:9 aspect ratio at 2160×1080 pixels. It is also called to have a Black Shark brand on the back.


TechRadar page reported the Black Shark would have two variants, which has 6 gigabytes of RAM and 8 gigabytes, and 128 gigabytes and 256 gigabytes of storage. It will feature the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.


3. Installed with Android Oreo


The leak also confirmed that Android Oreo would be installed on the smartphone, which means we can see the treble project support in addition to the solid hardware.


The company has revealed that it will feature the Shark Space, an app similar to Apple's Game Center app.

A Weibo user also shared promotional photos that were supposedly a Black Shark. It looked like a modern version of Nokia N-Gage.


5. Competing with Razer Phone


Black Shark will compete with a similar smartphone, the Razer Phone. Black Shark is likely to be cheaper than Razer Phone because Xiaomi is usually aggressive with the price of its products.
