TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A healthy relationship is when two people love each other. There are many causes for an unhealthy relationship, such as abusive acts that are not limited to physical, sexual, and psychological violence but including economic violence.
Living an unhealthy relationship cannot provide happiness. Instead, you will feel these following four bad impacts:
1. Loss of confidence
An unhealthy relationship can also make you lose confidence. You will not be able to express opinions and you will be driven. It also can make you lose self-esteem and cannot be independent again.
2. Always being blamed
A relationship should make us feel happy because we have someone who can be trusted and relied upon. However, if you only feel the sadness of always being blamed, it is a sign that you are in an unhealthy relationship. Although your partner makes mistakes, usually they will be selfish and still do not want to be blamed.
3. Feel insulated
Feeling isolated while in a relationship because of not being able to meet friends or family, of course, it can really make you suffer. One of the real effects that can be felt when in an unhealthy relationship is to feel isolated.
4. Depression
Having an unhealthy relationship for too long can make you depressed. Constantly feeling sad and unable to express it later can worsen your mental health.
