Xiaomi Releases New Smart Rearview Mirror

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Chinese-based electronics and software company Xiaomi has released Smart Rearview Mirror to be installed in various type of cars in the world. This smart rearview mirror featured a color screen, infotainment, navigation, or voice guidance.


The touch-screen large at 6.86-inch with several new features such as Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and a voice assistant.


The 8.88-inch iteration is likely more compact than its predecessor in the black color as its fabric default. However, Xiaomi used an aluminum material which is an aerospace grade to prevent the device’s heating.


The camera Xiaomi Smart Rear View Mirror is provided by Sony IMX291 image sensor. The camera produces a good visual regardless in low-light condition with a large aperture of f/1.8 and a 150° large wide angle. The device also able to record from the front and rear at the same time.


Xiaomi Mi Rearview Mirror will be available in the Chinese market on April 3 via Mi Home and Xiaomi Mall at the price of 999 yuan or 2.2 million rupiahs.
