TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Sandiaga Uno is officially appointed as the team leader of vice presidential candidate election for Prabowo Subianto. He claimed that it would not interfere his job as the Jakarta Deputy Governor.

Prabowo, the Chairman of Gerindra Party, is the strong rival candidate to Joko Widodo in the 2019 Presidential Election. Speaker of the House Fadli Zon and the Gerindra Party Secretary Ahmad Muzani also fill his team.

As a Gerindra cadre, Sandiaga has become a member of Prabowo's winning team during the 2014 Presidential Election.

As the team leader, Sandi had to go to some areas to hear the community aspirations about the developing issues. Sandi also had to help the cadres in other regions.

Sandi said he only involved in the team every Sunday. There are other team members who will take care of the vice presidential election. Monday to Saturday, he promises to focus on the work as the Jakarta Deputy Governor.

"I already said to Mr. Prabowo, if it interferes my job, I beg the permission if I cannot focus on taking care of it," said Sandi.

Sandiaga Uno said the team has started to work. It works in silence, not ranting. It only focuses on hearing the aspirations, from small communities to businessmen.
