Drug Dealer Shot Dead by BNN Aceh

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Aceh Province has shot to death a man suspected to be a drug dealer on Thursday night. Two other suspects were arrested.







Aceh Province BNN staff Amanto said that the suspect, M (33), is from Medan, North Sumatra. “We had to take firm action because the suspect tried to escape,” he said on Friday, March 30


On Thursday, M was arrested along with RS (26) from North Aceh and Mun (35) from Banda Aceh. It was then revealed that the drugs belonged to M.

The officers then escorted M to Lhokseumawe to develop the case and to recover evidence, a stash of methamphetamine or shabu weighing seven kilograms.


En route, M tried to escape by jumping out of the car and running away. Warning shots were fired but M did not stop and so BNN officers had to take him down.
