TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Global football star David Beckham on Wednesday, March 28, announced through his Instagram account @davidbeckham that his insta-stories would be taken over by Sripun (15), a teenager he described in one of his Instagram posts as an inspiration and change-maker.

The first photo he posted with Sripun was captioned; “I can’t wait for her to share her life in Indonesia with all of you and how she is tackling bullying in her school and community. @UNICEF #Endviolence.”

Beckham also informed his followers that Sripun was once a victim of bullying but she can stand up for herself and others through the times. He said, "She faced bullying at school and felt excluded by friends but has focused on supporting others through tough times."

He also said that Sripun was nominated by her friends to be a change-maker and has now continued her fight to inspire others to put an end to bullying and create an environment so that students can study safely.

Sripun then took over David Beckham’s Instagram stories by uploading a short video with the social media’s ‘boomerang’ feature of her and her friends in the background with the hashtag #takeover.

The following David Beckham's Instagram story showed Sripun introducing herself and briefly showing her school’s environment during UNICEF’s campaign in the background. One of the stories also featured Sripun’s schoolmate and best friend Ego that she described to be an agent of change too.
