TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - MIMPI Founder and CEO Frank De Witte explains the importance of mattress selection to have a good quality of sleep.

“Because better sleep will result in better life. Therefore, you need to select your mattress carefully to ensure that you get the perfect balance during sleep,” Frank said in Jakarta, on Thursday 8, February.

According to Frank some things need to be considered when choosing a mattress, namely knowing the types of foam on the mattress based on your needs.

1. Standard mattress

Standard mattress is made of various common materials at conventional stores. Usually it uses helical spring (coil) technology. The number of spring coil does not always reflect its quality. Adjust it to your needs whether to minimize shocks, especially when moving or getting out of bed.

2. Latex foam mattress

For those who sweat during sleep, latex foam mattress is the perfect choice because it provides balanced temperature and keeps you cool at night. Avoid the type of mattress with memory foam, because it can build up your body temperature and makes you feel hot.

3. Memory foam mattress

Memory foam mattress is the mattress that follows the shape of your body in order to support the posture perfectly during sleep. For those who do not move much during sleep, it can be a great choice.
