TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Katulampa Dam has become an attractive spot in Bogor City, West Java. Not only Bogor locals often visit this place, but also for people outside of the area who are interested in the Dutch heritage building.

There are also three other tourist attractions surround the Ketulampa Dam that you can visit with your friends or family in your next holiday trip.

1. Katulampa Colorful Village (Desa Warna-Warni)

This village is located in the riverbank of the Katulampa Dam, East Bogor Sub-district. The exterior walls of the houses here are painted colorfully and with beautiful murals that have been used by passers-by as selfie spots.

In order to enter the destination, visitors do not need to pay an entrance fee since it is a real village. However, this village provides free traditional games for tourists to experience such as stilts, congkak boards, and galasin. Visitors can also spend time roaming the Ciliwung River through river tubing. The tire tubes can be rented for Rp10,000.

2. Kampoeng Air Katulampa (Katulampa water village)

It is located at Jalan Bendungan Katulampa in East Bogor. This tourist spot is known to have a fishing pond and you can cook the fish you caught. This village is surrounded by rice fields, fruit and vegetable gardens, and small lakes.

This village also provides several attractions such as an outbound, rafting, a camping ground, and a homestay that is data-styled to mimic a traditional stilt house that is located on top of a fish pond. It also has a restaurant and handmade souvenir shops. It is just 4.5 kilometers from the Bogor toll exit and 55 meters from Katulampa Dam. Entering this place will only cost you Rp10,000 to Rp20,000 per person.

3. SKI Katulampa

This location started out as a store that sells bags known as SKI Bogor or SKI Tas Tajur Katulampa. It now has evolved into a tourist attraction by the addition of recreational spots, restaurants, and shopping places. SKI is an abbreviation of Sumber Karya Indah, a company that produces Tajur bags in Katulampa.

SKI Bogor is located in a vast area that is surrounded by palm trees. This destination offers several attractions such as a child-friendly and adult flying fox, water balls, balloon palace, horse riding, bungee jumping, and paddler boats, buggy kart, and a paintball arena. The entrance fee is just Rp60,000 per person.
