Health and sports specialist of the Royal Progress Hospital, Rika Haryono SpKO, said that ordinary people, or not athletes, who have good bodies because they are exercising intensively.

“If you want to have an ideal body, you must exercise,” said Rika on Tuesday, January 30.

To make it easy, just call it “FITT”, it is a formula for exercise. There are some things to watch out for when you are exercising.

1. F (Frequency).

Generally, people have the exercise frequencies at least three to five times a week.

2. I (Intensity).

There are three exercises intensity namely low, medium, and high.

3. T (Time)

If you are rarely doing exercise, usually at the beginning you can begin with 15 minutes, and then you can add the time to exercise later, but not more than 1 hour.

4. T (Type)

Rika said that the type of exercise can be selected with the one you favored in order to increase your exercising spirit. For example, swimming, running, playing badminton, soccer, cycling, or even lifting weights.

The type of exercise you chose can initiate a person's body building program. The reason is because exercises could burn fat that accumulates in the body. It can also eliminate the source of disease through sweat that is released during exercising.
