TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A member of the House of Representatives from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) fraction Zulkieflimansyah was reported by Aries Suci Handayani to the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) on Wednesday (4/1). Aries filed a report for neglect.

"Around May 2017, I reported him to the National Commission for Women. As a follow-up, I filed a report to MUI," Aries said on Saturday (6/1).

Aries is Zulkieflimansyah’s fourth wife and they married in 2016. She reported her husband because Zulkieflimansyah changed after their marriage.

Aries stated that Zulkieflimansyah has been neglecting her and their two children.

Previously, Aries also reported Zulkieflimansyah to PKS headquarters and the House of Representatives ethics council, but she had no response whatsoever.

"Is Zulkieflimansyah so powerful in PKS and in the House that he doesn’t deserve to be fired?" Aries said.

Aries also revealed that Zulkieflimansyah reported her to the police for defamation.

Considering Zulkieflimansyah’s conduct, Aries believes that her husband is not a good leader because he does not treat her fairly and he does not set a good example.

"He is not worthy to be a leader," Aries emphasized.

Zulkieflimansyah is a member of the House of Representatives of the Energy and Resources Commission and PKS will nominate him as a candidate for West Nusa Tenggara.
