TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - AirAsia Indonesia has officially appointed actress Raline Shah as its independent commissionaire. The appointment was unilaterally agreed by shareholders of PT Indonesia AirAsia on Monday, August 7.

AirAsia Indonesia president commissionaire Pin Harris positively welcomes the Raline’s appointment, since the actress has inspired many people to explore the world.

“Like AirAsia, Raline through her films has inspired many Indonesians to explore the world,” Harris said in a press release yesterday.

According to Harris, as a dynamic company, the flight company believes in the empowerment of young generations. Therefore, AirAsia is excited to work with the actress soon, Harris said.

AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes believes that Raline will be able to offer new perspectives on the market situation ahead of AirAsia Indonesia’s plan to conduct an IPO in the near future.

Fernandes praised Raline as a smart, talented, young, and independent woman, which is perfect for the company in order to become a leading company.

Raline Shah said that she is excited to Join AirAsia. She believes that she can remain neutral in serving her role as an independent Commissionaire at AirAsia Indonesia.
